Now & Next is a movement of purpose-driven individuals targeted at the next generation to reshape what it means to create change and renew a culture of giving.
It’s an invitation to begin your own journey in philanthropy, alongside other like-minded individuals, knowing that even the smallest step can help shape a better tomorrow.
Philanthropy means “love of humanity”. While it's often seen as the domain of wealthy benefactors, it's actually something anyone can practice. At its core, a philanthropist is someone who cares for others and takes action to make a positive impact, whether through regular donations, one-off gifts, volunteering, or leaving a legacy through a Gift in their Will.
You may already be a philanthropist without realising it. Whether you're a monthly donor, respond to urgent appeals, or include a charity in your Will, each act reflects the intention to create lasting change. The power of philanthropy lies not in the size of the gift, but in the desire to give to others to create a lasting impact.
The future of philanthropy is being shaped right now by Millennials and Gen Z. These generations bring with them values of justice, sustainability, and community-led change, and they are already influencing how giving is understood in Australia and beyond. Research from Philanthropy Australia shows that younger Australians are more likely to give in ways that align with their values and are driven by transparency and measurable impact.
This growing movement demonstrates the unique strength of the next generation. They want to know that their generosity creates real change, and they expect charities to share openly about the difference being made. They bring not only financial contributions but also energy, innovation, and a desire to shape a more compassionate world. Your actions today are part of a larger story - one where every choice builds a better future for the communities we serve.
Now & Next is a community where you can bring your whole self—your time, talents, resources, ideas, voice, and connections. Together, we create meaningful change, and along the way, you'll be inspired and supported by others who share your passion for giving.
Even a small monthly gift can provide stability for families in crisis and support ongoing community programs. Regular giving helps Anglicare plan for the future with confidence, knowing that compassionate people like you are walking alongside us.
A one-off donation is a meaningful way to respond directly to a need. Every gift, no matter the size, helps provide immediate hope and care to those facing hardship.
By leaving a gift in your Will, you ensure the causes you believe in today will keep transforming lives tomorrow. Even a modest gift can create an enduring legacy for future generations

When you give through Anglicare, you are never giving alone. For more than 160 years, Anglicare has stood alongside people in times of hardship, offering support, care, and dignity. Our commitment to transparency means you can see the real outcomes of your generosity through impact reports and stories of change from across our programs.
We know that choosing where and how to give can feel overwhelming. That is why we walk with you, offering guidance and connection every step of the way. Philanthropy is a journey, and with Anglicare you can trust that your contribution is making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
